According to a  publication of PT/BKD the amount of planted lilies in 2005 is grown with 3 per cent. This means a growth of about 100 hectares. In total the amount of planted hectares is 3,828. In the year 2000 this amount was 4,520 hectares. The scale cultivation grew with 11 per cent and the glass house cultivation decreased with 27 (!) per cent.
