Wednesday the 25th of February a product day was held for the ‘tulip’ in tradecentre BolleNoord in ’t Zand. That afternoon the theme was ‘China’. The meaning of this kind of product days is to bring together the colleaques and to inform them about certain yhings that happens in the sector.

This time the tulip-colleagues were invited to be informed about the development of China to become of a new consuming market. During that afternoon three speakers were invited to tell about their experiences of trading in China. The subjects varied from the export of flowerbulbs until the export of knowledge concerning the breeding of tulips.

The three speakers were Jan de Wit (exporter of flower bulbs), Henk de Groot (contact of the flowerbulb auction in Aalsmeer for China) and Robert de Vos (China-expert of Rainbow Chinese Lawyers Holland b.v.)

Before the speakers held told their stories there was a tulip judging bij the KAVB-judgecommission-tulips. Two winners raise from the 116 pots that were send in.
